I work with you on an individual basis to determine the best way to develop your site. The design process consists of a series of steps that move your site from start to finish.
Assessment
During this first phase of the design process, I’ll ask you about your
goals for the website and how it relates to your business or organization.
We’ll work through a form that will help me develop a customized proposal
for your site. During this phase, we’ll also determine whether or not
my skills and your needs are a good match.
Proposal
Based on the assessment, I’ll develop a proposal that will include structural
outlines, proposed designs, and time and cost projections. The proposal
will also include potential hosting companies and available domain names.
Acceptance
If you accept the proposal, we’ll work through the process of determining
content. I’ll ask you for copy, logos, pictures, videos, documents and
any other materials you want included on the site.
Completion/Review
Before your site goes live, I’ll make it available for you to review. Upon
your approval, your site will be uploaded to the server and go “live.”
Ongoing Maintenance
Websites are not static. No sooner than it is finished, it needs to be
updated. I’ll work with you to develop a plan to update your site. I
can either teach someone in your business or organization how to update
the site or develop an update schedule with you.
