Résumé (pdf)
I have been working on websites since 1995, originally teaching myself HTML as a hobby. Since then I have worked on numerous sites on my job at the University of Delaware, for friends, and for organizations of which I am a member.
I decided to create Claymont Digital Design, LLC to meet a growing need. Small businesses and community-based organizations have a real need for professional looking websites and other image services. They can’t afford the services of expensive design firms, so too many of them rely on methods that produce images of an amateurish quality that do more harm than good. The sites and images I design follow the rules of good design and leave your customers and clients with a favorable impression of your small business or community-based organization.
I have a master’s degree in communication from the University of Delaware and a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting and film from Boston University. I understand good communication and what it takes to make your site work.
Just as websites are not static, neither is the technology. Web design is an ongoing process, and I am constantly taking classes and tutorials to keep my skills current.
